Senior Developer
Summary of Position:
Olah Healthcare Technology, a Verisma company, helps provider organizations remove the problems associated with data archiving; whether those problems are related to cost, speed or decision making. Our customers struggle in maintaining multitudes of legacy clinical and financial software systems and we provide innovative ways to extract the data so those systems can be decommissioned. Our platform ensures the data can be located and referenced in workflow for clinical, administrative and compliance purposes. Though Olah is a smaller organization, are an industry recognized leader in Data Archiving not only by our customers, but through our top rankings in KLAS, Gartner, and BlackBook.
We are seeking a talented and experienced full stack Software Engineer to join our platform development team based in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Vue.js, and JavaScript, with a focus on developing robust and scalable software solutions. Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL databases is highly desired.
This position would be mostly remote with travel to Columbus, Ohio at least once a month.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement scalable software solutions designed to leverage our SaaS
• Design, build, deploy, test, and debug a codebase using Java, Vue.js, and JavaScript
• Work on database design, optimization, and maintenance using PostgreSQL and SQL
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software applications
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Investigate and resolve client reported software bugs or issues
Minimum Qualifications
• 5+ years of proven experience in software development with a focus on Java, Vue.js, and JavaScript
• Strong proficiency in database technologies, particularly PostgreSQL and SQL
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Effective communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions
• Ability to learn new systems beyond area of core knowledge
• Proactively seeks information and ideas from peers, supervisor, and customers
• Proficiency developing within an AWS environment, utilizing containers (Docker), or automating development processes are not required but desirable
• Healthcare Industry experience is a plus
